Promises made promises kept.

Four years ago you elected me as an advocate for the ratepayer.  I promised not to vote to increase your EMWD water rate and I have kept my promise. I wish to continue to be the ratepayer's advocate on the Eastern Municipal Water District Board of Directors. 

When the District raised the Directors pay I refused to take the increase. When the economy got tough I volunteered to take a 5% pay decrease. I believe rate payers need a strong voice on the Board of EMWD and I will continue to be that voice

We have all been challenged by the water shortages, both natural and regulatory; I will continue to be a voice for common sense in balancing the environment with the needs of the public.

We have all been affected by the economic pressures of the past few years.  I plan to continue to encourage sound business practices at EMWD so that we can maintain reasonable water rates.

I wish to continue to work for you the ratepayer and again ask for your vote.
